Together we will explore Virgo energy. Virgo themes include self-sufficiency, service, devotion, refinement, introspection, and mindfulness. The session incorporates evocative music to deepen your connection to these themes and keep you present with your breath. We will discuss the current astrology and how you can use breathwork to set intentions to cultivate Virgo in your life.
Breathwork is an active two-part meditation. Breathing extra breath into the body allows trapped energy and emotions to break up and release. The breath gives the mind and the body something to focus on so that the “active mind” can relax and allow the subconscious to be explored. In this liminal state is where the trapped energy is stored. Breathwork brings you back into your body and connects you to your intuition and a higher spirit. This is a process of deep self-exploration, healing, and transformation at all levels of the Self (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual). Breathwork is helpful for processing anything you feel is too big for you. Things like grief, negative self-talk, shame, guilt, anger, + anxiety. It’s also supportive of releasing energy tied to stress, depression, chronic illnesses, limiting beliefs, and trauma. Breathwork can also be used to cultivate new energy to bring into your bodies, like trusting your intuition + the divine, living heart-centered, and connecting to creativity.
Please bring a yoga mat and/or blankets as well as anything you want to feel comfortable lying down for 50 minutes and wear comfortable clothing. You may also want to bring water and a notebook and pen.
